Q: What size gage is best for pierced ear lobes? I have a couple of holes on my earlobe and want to use the threadless posts. Also what is the typical length, 1\4?

A: Depending on where you originally went to get pierced (a piercing studio vs. places that use piercing guns), most ear lobe piercings are done in either a 20g or an 18g. 20g would be the thinner option & the size of your average department store earring, 18g is a little thicker and...view more the thickness you would typically get at a studio.
